For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X7, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Pinup Toons tube 210-1 which you need a license to use.  

Scrap kit of choice. I am using the PinUp Toons Package 210 scrapkit by Ladyhawwk Designs 

Font of choice, I am using The Cinthia Edito

Mask: WSL Mask 84 Links for masks are on the right sidebar

Plugins: No outside plugins

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 950 x 950 pixels with a white background

Open frame 5 copy and paste as a new layer, resize 85% 

Take your magic wand with the tolerance set at 3, feather at 0

click on the lighter colored part of the frame, selections, modify, expand 1

selections, invert, copy and paste paper 4 as a new layer, click delete on your keyboard

deselect and merge the two layers together

click inside the frame with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2, selections, invert

open paper 2 copy and paste as a new layer 

click delete on your keyboard, leave selected

Copy and paste your close up tube as a new layer, resize by 90%

arrange in your frame

erase the bits that hang out of your frame where you don't want them

Now you can add your elements:

element 9 resize 50% duplicate twice,arrange one on the bottom left, mirror one, arrange it on the bottom right, rotate the 3rd left 45, arrange it below the other two layers in the center

resize the two on the outside corners 90%

element 8 resize 70% arrange below the flowers in the center

element 39 resize 75% arrange below the flowers on the left, duplicate & mirror, erase

what shows in the bottom center

element 40 rotate left 90 arrange on the right side, duplicate & mirror, arrange between the frame and the tube layers

element 47 resize 75% arrange below the two outside flower clusters, but above the middle one

on the left side, duplicate and mirror

element 37 resize 45% arrange below the flower cluster layer on the bottom right corner

element 38 resize 55% arrange on the bottom left corner under the flower cluster layer

word art resize 85% make sure to add your drop shadow or it does show well, arrange across the tube and just above the flowers in the center area

add paper 4 above the white background, resize 115% so it fits the canvas better,

apply your mask, merge group

duplicate about 5 times and merge together so it's darker

flip it

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit, Yesterday's Wardrobe by BLT Dezignz  

Font of choice, I am using Segoe Script

Mask: Monti's Blinds Mask

Plugins: Xero Porcelain

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 950 x 950 pixels with a white background

Open frame 3 copy and paste as a new layer, resize 35%, erase the little leaf at the bottom 

click inside with your magic wand, making sure it's set on add/shift or you hold the shift key down so you can also get into all the little sections around the edges,

selections, modify, expand 2, selections, invert

open paper 12, resize to 800 x 800 pixels,  copy and paste as a new layer 

click delete on your keyboard, leave selected

copy your mirrored tube, paste as a new layer, arrange in the frame, click delete on your keyboard

then deselect and duplicate your tube.

On the top tube layer, adjust blur, gaussian 3, change blend mode to soft light

on the bottom layer, apply Xero Porcelain with default settings, except change the blue to zero

Hide the white background, merge visible

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 45% on the left side of the frame,

drag the frame a little to the right so it will all fit on your canvas

now add your elements

purse resize 10% arrange to the right of the tube

shoe dangle resize 25% arrange to the right of the purse

 swirl resize 25% rotate left 65 arrange on the right side of the frame

flower 12 resize 15% rotate right 45 arrange above leaf swirl, erase the bottom part of the flower stem

brad resize 25% arrange between the shoes and flowers layers

Resize paper 12 to 950 x 950 pixels, copy and paste above the white background
apply your mask, merge group, duplicate, merge together, duplicate again and merge together

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 45%

arrange in your frame

erase the bits that hang out of your frame where you don't want them, deselect

add your elements

element 5 resize 40% arrange bottom center of the frame

element 6 resize 60% arrange behind and right of the cupcake, duplicate & mirror

element 24 resize 55% rotate left 25 arrange below flower on left

element 15 resize 45% arrange to the right of and behind the corset

element 48 resize 60% arrange on the right, above the other flowers, erase the green stems

element 36 resize 55% arrange in front of pink & white heart

element 16 resize 55% arrange behind the pink flowers, duplicate, resize 75%, arrange between the pink flowers and the whitish flowers at the bottom, duplicate & mirror

element 22 resize 45% arrange to the left of and below the cupcake layer, erase the chain

element 47 arrange on left, duplicate & mirror, erase some of the hearts that overlap

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save

Open frame 1 copy and paste as a new layer

click inside both parts with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2,

add a new raster layer below the frame, fill the bottom part with #7b4a39

and fill the top part with #f18fa3

Selections, invert, copy and paste your tube as a new layer, arrange in the top frame, click delete on your keyboard, do the same for the bottom frame, deselect and erase the parts that overlap in each frame, merge the two layers together, duplicate

on the top layer, adjust blur, gaussian 3, change the blend mode to soft light

on the bottom layer, apply Xero Porcelain with default settings, except change the blue to zero

Hide the white background, merge visible

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 80% mirror, arrange on the left side, drag the frame to the right

add the following elements:

element 28 resize 75% arrange on the right edge of the frame in the center of the two frames

element 12 resize 55% arrange on the bottom right

element 7 resize 35% arrange to the left of element 12

element 6 resize 45% rotate right 20 arrange behind the round element on the right

element 13 resize 35% arrange in front of tube

word art 2 resize 75% arrange above tube on the left

element 25 arrange just above the frame layer on the bottom, erase the flower on the left side of it

Copy and paste paper 2 above the white background

apply your mask, merge group, duplicate & mirror, if the dots on the mask don't line up

move one of the masks around until they overlap, merge them together

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save
