Samhain Love

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Alicia Mujica (Gunhilda tube)
which you need a license to use.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using Halloween Time, a PTU kit by Alicia Mujica

Font of choice, I am using Austie Bost Envelope

Mask of your choice

Plugins: Xero - Porcelain
I do use Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow on all my copyrights/credits layers
I do this because some forums will make a .png tag show up with a black background and then your
copyright doesn't show.

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 pixels with a white background
open frame 4 (Marco 4) copy and paste as a new layer
click in the center with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 3
selections invert
open paper 2, copy and paste as a new layer below the frame click delete on your keyboard
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 75%
take your eraser tool and erase the bits that hang out of your frame where you don't want them
deselect

Duplicate your tube, on the top layer, adjust blur, gaussian blue 3, change the blend mode to soft light
on the original tube layer, apply Xero Porcelain with default settings but change the blue to zero

Do this process to each element as you make your tag to get the soft glow feeling to the tag
do not do this with your mask or background paper layer

add the following to your tag

deco 10 resize  40% arrange on the bottom right

deco 9 resize  3-% mirror & arrange below deco 10 & the tube on the bottom right
I erased the bit that stuck out beyond the pumpkins at the very bottom

corazon 2 resize  40% rotate left 30 arrange below & to the left of the pumpkins

set your foreground to #e7048c and background to #bc2fa7
right click on the foreground box, go to gradients,
in the drop down box look for foreground/background, click it
style set to linear, angle 45, repeats 4, click ok

add a new layer above the white background & flood fill it with this gradient
apply your mask

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save
