Alice Forum Set

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X7, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of PinUp Toons (Individual tube 173-2) which you need a license to use.  

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit Sweet Alice by Scrappin With Lil Ole Me  

Font of choice, I am using Ballerina Script

Plugins: No outside plugins

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Tag

Open a new canvas 950 x 950 pixels with a white background

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer

Now add your elements

element 63 arrange behind tube

element 62 arrange over the window

element 66 resize 60% arrange on the bottom right

element 91 resize 30% arrange on the bed

element 26 resize 60% arrange across bottom of frame, below the bed layer, duplicate & mirror

element 75 resize 60% arrange on the bottom left

element 77 resize 45% arrange bottom center

element 43 resize 30% arrange on the left of element 77, duplicate, mirror, resize 75%

element 40 resize 20% arrange on the left of the mushrooms

element 70 resize 30% arrange by bed

element 41 resize 30% arrange to the right of the cupcake

element 1 resize 90% arrange behind the window at the top

element 2 arrange between element 1 and the frame, erase the bits that show at the bottom

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save

Banner

Take your crop tool and set the pixel dimensions to width 600 and height 250

cut the tube from the tag, the drag your crop tool to the bottom of the tag

and arrange it where you'd like to cut the tag for the banner and then double click on your tag

paste the tube back into the tag and arrange it in the center area

now on the white background layer, selections, select all, modify, select selection borders

set it at 4, add a new raster layer at the top

flood fill with #1d8dbd then deselect

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save

Delete the bed, tube, and rabbit layers from the banner tag

set the crop tool at 200 x 200 pixels or whatever size you need for your forum

then double click on the tag to crop

add a frame the same way as you did for the banner tag

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save
