For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Keith Garvey (Spoiled tube) which you need a license to use. 

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  a PTU kit, All For Fall by Scrappin With Lil Ole Me 

Font of choice, I am using Good Karma

Mask: Horse Play's Pasture, mask 11

Plugins: No outside plugins
I do use Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow on all my copyrights/credits layers

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 pixels with a white background

open element 22 (frame) copy and paste as a new layer resize 85%

Take your freehand selection tool set on point to point and click around the center edge of the frame, slightly inside the blue area. When you get back where you started, put the mouse pointer over where you started and double click instead of single click, this brings the two points together

open paper 14, make a new raster layer below the frame make sure you are on that layer, copy the paper and paste into selection

copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by %
arrange in your frame, selections, invert
erase the bits that hang out of your frame where you don't want them

 add the following elements:

 element 119 resize 60% arrange on bottom right, duplicate & mirror

element 117 resize 50% arrange on bottom right

element 92 resize 55% arrange on bottom right

element 103 resize 40% arrange to the left of the birdhouse

element 71 resize 30% arrange in front of birdhouse

element 113 resize 15% arrange in front of candle

Independence

duplicate, mirror, drag back over to the right, and put the layer behind the city layer

element 33 resize  30% arrange to the right of the car

element 29 resize  27% arrange in the back car window

Copy and paste your tube, arrange between the city and Mt. Rushmore layer

Treachery On High Seas

drop the opacity so you can see her through the paper, and take your eraser set on about 3 pixels

and slowly erase her thumb, and nothing else, then bring the opacity back up to 100%

add the word art to the scroll paper

add the name you want on the paper below the word art

Copy and paste paper 8 above the white background

apply your mask

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed

CT Tag Show Off for Alicia Mujica

Two new tags using the artwork of Alicia Mujica, this tube is called Chloe and she's from Alicia's 2014 St. Valentines Special Edition set of 3 tubes which you can find here 

Little Emo Love Notes

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Juicy Bits, which you need a license to use. You can get it at her store HERE.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit called Love Notes, which is also by Juicy Bits.

Font of choice, I am using Carrington

Mask: WSL170 by weescotslass, you can find it HERE.

Plugins: Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow (optional for name text)

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 600x600 white.

Open Frame 1, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 75%, rotate to the right by 45.

Take your magic wand, hold down the shift key and click inside each of the parts of the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 3.

Open paper 4, copy and paste as a new layer, drag below your frame layer, selections, invert, click delete on your keyboard and leave selected.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, drag below your frame layer. If you are using the same tube as I am, resize by about 95%.

Take your eraser tool and erase the bits that hang over the frame on the right side. (part of her skirt, her foot, and her shirt)

Now, take your eraser and erase the bits of her skirt that show above the middle frame and bottom frame on the left side. Do not erase her shoe or her head.

Deselect and duplicate what is left of your tube. Drag the duplicate layer above your frame layer and lower the opacity to around 20%. You want to be able to see the frame through your tube.

Take your eraser tool and erase the bits of her leg and skirt that show over the bottom part of the middle frame and then raise the opacity back to 100%.

Now you should have her shoe sticking out of the lower frame and her head popping out of the top/middle frame.

Add a drop shadow to the bottom tube layer and the frame. I used 1, 1, 50, 5.

Open paper 9, copy and paste it above your white background layer. Open your mask, go to Layers, New Mask Layer, From Image, and on the drop down box, find your mask and then click ok. Delete the mask and merge the group together. Rotate it to the left by 90.

Now it's just a matter of adding whatever elements you'd like into your kit.

I used the glitter, pasted it above the mask and dragged it so it showed over to the left side of the frame.

Then open Journal Tag2, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 70, rotate to the left by 40, image flip, add a drop shadow. Arrange it near the middle of the frames.

Open flower 1, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 40, arrange it on the right side where the top and middle frame parts come together.

Open flower 2, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 25%, arrange it over the other flower so it's how you like it, add a drop shadow.

Open the ribbonstriped element, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 35%, add a drop shadow, drag that layer below the flower layers and arrange it how you want it.

Open notepad3, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 27%, add a drop shadow, arrange under her foot.

Add your copyright info.

Add your name. I did mine using #c91f44 with a stroke 1 using the same color to make it a bit thicker. Then I added a gradient glow of 4 using #b44500 and then added my drop shadow.

Crop your tag and resize, then save!

Under the Sea

Anyone else chompin' at the bit waiting for Spring to get here? I decided it was time for a summer themed tag just because I'm sick of looking at all the snow outside my window! For this tut you will need the following: Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, but any version should work. Scrap kit of your choice. I am using a PTU kit by Gina of Scrappin' Bratz, called Something's Fishy. You can get her kit HERE. A tube of your choice. I am using the wonderful artwork of Ismael Rac which you have to purchase to use. You can find his stuff over at AMI. Let's get started! Open the Something's Fishy frame 5. Resize it to 550x480 pixels. Then change the canvas size to 700x700. Take your magic wand and click inside the frame, modify, expand by 5. Open a paper, copy and paste as a new layer, resize to the size you'd like so the pattern is showing how you want it to in the frame, arrange it, and then selections, invert, make sure you are on the paper layer, and click delete on your keyboard. Leave selected. Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer then duplicate it. Drag the original below your frame layer and hide the duplicate for now. Take your eraser tool and erase the parts of your tube that you don't want hanging below your frame. Deselect and add a drop shadow. Unhide your duplicate tube and erase the parts that hang over your frame. You don't have to be really careful what you erase, because you will have the bottom tube showing through. Open paper 1, resize by 35%, copy and paste as a new layer, send to the bottom. Apply your mask, then delete the mask and merge the group. Open one of the wave elements, copy and paste as a new layer. Resize it so it fits across the bottom of your frame. I did it twice by 50% then once by 60%. Then drop the opacity to about 50% and take your eraser tool and erase the bits that cover the mermaid's tail. Bring the opacity back to 100%. Add any elements you like to your tag.

Dare to Be Different

For this tut you will need the following: Paint Shop Pro, any version should work, I am using 10. A tube of your choice. I am using the awesome artwork of Ismael Rac which you can purchase at AMI. Scrap kit of choice. I am using My Bloody Wedding by Addicted2Scraps. It is a PTU kit. Template 52 by Linda which can be found at the Creative Misfits blog. It's the second one down, just click on the set and you'll be taken to the download. Font: I used Carlotta. Plugin: (optional) I used Eye Candy 3.1 Glow to put the glow on my name. Let's begin! Open your template and delete the top credits layer. Make the black circle layer active and click inside it with your magic wand. Open a black paper from the kit, copy and paste as a new layer, resize if necessary. Selections, invert, make sure you are on your paper layer, and hit delete on your keyboard. Leave selected. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and arrange it in your circle. Use your eraser tool to erase the bits you don't want hanging over the bottom of your circle. Deselect and add a drop shadow to your tube. Delete the original circle layer. Hide your tube and circle layer. Take your selection tool and draw out a rectangle starting at the top edge of the blue part of the glittery frame circle. Open a red paper, copy and paste as a new layer, selections, invert, and hit delete on your keyboard then deselect. Now back on your glitter circle, selections, select all, float, defloat, invert, on that paper layer you just did above, make that layer active then hit delete on your keyboard. Now the red paper should be a half circle just covering the blue area. Now go to adjust, add/remove noise, and add noise with 100%, uniform and monochrome checked. Merge this red layer down with the glitter circle layer and add a drop shadow. Unhide your tube and circle layers. Activate the large rectangle layer, click inside it with your magic wand. Open another black paper, copy and paste as a new layer. Selections invert, hit delete on your keyboard. Add a drop shadow. Do the same for the Rectangles layer. Do the same for each of the remaining blue layers, but use a red paper to fill them in. On the glittery text and stars layers, Add noise to it just like you did with the half circle layer. Open element 60, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange to the top left, and then drag it to the bottom and then add a drop shadow. Add any other elements you might like. I didn't add anything besides that last one. You can also add a mask if you'd like. Add your copyright info and your name. Crop it down, resize if necessary, delete the white background layer and save as a .png so it's transparent.

Gothic Grunge

For this tutorial you will need the following: Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, but I think any version should work. A tube, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac which you can purchase at AMI. You must purchase his artwork to use it. Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit by Addicted2Scraps called Bloody Wedding. Let's get started. Open element 3, which is a square frame, resize by about 50%, then change the canvas size to 650x650. Take your selection tool set on rectangle and draw a big rectangle going around the darker part of your frame. Open a paper, copy and paste as a new layer, selections, invert, and click delete on your keyboard. Drag the paper below the frame. Add a drop shadow to your frame layer. Open element 1, copy and paste as a new layer, bring it to the bottom and resize by 35%. Add a drop shadow. Open one of your tubes, copy and paste as a new layer. Resize if necessary, add a drop shadow and then erase the parts that hang over your frame. Open a paper, copy and paste as a new layer, drag it to the bottom, resize if you'd like and apply a mask. Drop the opacity down to about 65% if it's too dark. Add any elements you'd like. Add your ©info and name.

Love me, love my pet

For this tut you will need the following: Tube of choice. I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac which you must have a license to use and you can get at AMI. Scrap kit Pet Shop which you can purchase at Addicted 2 Scraps. Font of choice. I used Pricedown and Scriptina Plugin Xenofex 1.1 Shower Door, Alien Skin Eye Candy 3.1 Glow Ok, lets get started! Open a new canvas about 700 x 700, flood fill white. Open element A2S_PS33 (the polaroid)copy and paste as a new layer, resize about 65%. Take your magic wand tool and click inside the square part. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Open one of the papers, I used PS15, copy and paste as a new layer, selections, invert, drag the paper below the polaroid frame. Leave selected. Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, take your eraser tool and erase the parts that hang below the frame. Deselect and add a drop shadow to your tube and your polaroid. I used 1, 1, 60, 5 as my drop shadow throughout this tut. Open element PS35, (or another similar one of a different color)copy and paste as a new layer, drag it below your paper layer (that you made your background in the polaroid. Resize by 75%. Click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand by 5, selections, invert. Open a paper of choice, copy and paste as a new layer. Click delete on your keyboard, drag that layer below the round frame layer. Open some of the bubble elements (PS38, 39, 40)copy and paste as a new layer, drag them below the circle frame/paper. Place them around the circle frame until you get it how you'd like. You might want to duplicate some and resize them smaller. See my tag for reference. Open one of the ribbons, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 70%, arrange where you'd like it near the bottom of the polaroid, take your eraser tool, and erase the parts that hang over the edge. Copy and paste some of the other elements that you like, resizing as necessary. Merge the round frame and it's background, and then duplicate it. On the bottom layer, drag it to the very bottom, go to adjust, blur, gaussian blur, set at 10. Apply Xenofex Shower Door plugin with the following settings: Dot size 7, random seed 50. Apply it again, but this time, change the random seed to 70. Using a wide font (I used Price down) type out Love me Love my pets, using #375370. Now apply Eye Candy 3.1 glow with a width of 5, white set at fat. Apply it again, changing the width to 2 and the color to #375370. Add your drop shadow. Now with a thinner script style font, add your name, and apply a drop shadow. Add your © info and credits. Crop and resize as necessary. If you want it to be transparent, delete the white background layer and save as a .png. You're all done!

Coffee & Cake

For this tut you will need: Any version of Paint Shop Pro. I am using PSP X. Scrap kit Good Morning at Addicted 2 Scraps. 3 tubes of your choice. I am using the artwork of Caron Vincent which you must have a license to use. You can get yours at CILM. Mask of choice. I am using a mask from Weescotslass #81 (Wsl_81) which you can find on her site HERE. Font of choice. I am using Carlotta Plugins: Eye Candy 3.1 glow (or another version of gradient glow) Let's begin. Open a new canvas size 700 x 700 flood fill with white. Open element el28, copy and paste as a new layer in your canvas. Open paper pp6. Click inside the large middle square of your frame with your magic wand. Selections, modify, expand by 5, selections, invert. Copy and paste your paper as a new raster layer, on that layer, click delete on your keyboard. Leave selected, drag that layer below your frame layer. Open one of your tubes, copy and paste as a new layer, resize if needed. Duplicate your tube, bring one above the frame layer and hide it. Make sure the other is below the frame layer. Take your eraser tool and erase the bits that hang below the bottom of the frame. Once you do that, deselect and add a drop shadow. Unhide the top tube layer. Erase the bits that you don't want hanging below the frame. You don't have to be very careful how you erase because you have the lower one showing. Now back on your frame layer, take your magic wand, and hold down your shift key, click inside each of the smaller frames. Selections, modify, expand 5, selections, invert. Open paper pp18, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 70%, click delete on your keyboard, leave selected, and drag that paper layer below your frame. Open a tube, arrange so that the part you want showing is showing in the top frame. You may need to resize your tube. Now on that tube layer, click delete on your keyboard. Do the same for the lower frame, then deselect. Add a new raster layer just above your white background layer. Flood fill with a color from your tube. I used #70b9df. Open your mask. Go to Layers, New Mask Layer, From Image, in the drop down box, look for your mask and then click ok. Delete the mask layer, merge the group. Resize if you'd like. I resized by 85%. Open ele41, resize by 70%, copy and paste as a new layer. Using Eye Candy 3.1 glow, set to white, 3 width and fat, apply the glow, add a drop shadow. Open a cupcake or doughnut element, resize (I resized by 15%), copy and paste above the bottom frame, add a drop shadow. Do the same with one of the mug or cup elements. Open ele38 resize by 70%, mirror, copy and paste as a new layer, position to the left side of your tag. Add your © info, scrapkit credits and your name, crop and resize as necessary, and you're done. Save your file as a transparent file by deleting the white background layer and saving as a .png file.
