Here's a new tag I made using the artwork of Charles Bristow at Artistically Inclined Licencing and a scrapkit by Farrah at Designer Scraps.

Immortal Love

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Creepy Cuties, which you need a license to use.  

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  Immortal Love, a PTU kit from Designs by Stina

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas, 750 x 750 white background.

Open frame 9, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 80%,

click inside it with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand by 3, selections, invert.

Open paper 23, copy and paste as a new layer, click delete on your keyboard, leave selected, drag this layer below your frame layer.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange inside the frame.

Duplicate the tube. On the top tube layer, adjust blur, gaussian blur 5, change the opacity to soft light.

On the bottom tube layer, change the opacity to Luminance(L).

Open heart splatter 2, copy and paste as a new layer, drag down so it's just above the white background layer. Resize to 80%, duplicate and rotate the duplicate right 90

Open banner 2, copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 45%, rotate right by 12

Open rose 12, resize by 25%, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange it over the ribbon, duplicate and mirror.

Add your mask if you're using one.

Crop and resize, add your name and copyright info then save.

Romance

Just showing off another tag made using Wicked Princess Scraps kit called Seduction, which is a PTU kit. Here's the kit and you can find links to the stores she sells at on the top right side of her blog.

My Heart

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Elias Chatzoudis, which you need a license to use.  He is now an independent artist, at the time I got my tube he was at PTE.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  Seduction, a PTU kit by Wicked Princess Scraps. On her blog, look at the left side, you'll see the links to stores she sells at.

Template by Scarlet on the Creative Misfits Blog. It's about halfway down the page, with her name just above it.

Font of choice, I am using Fiolex Girls

Plugins: No outside plugins used.

Let's get started!

Open your template, shift D to duplicate, close the original.

Image, cavas size, change to 850x850.

Add a new raster layer, fill it with white or another color not in your kit or tube so you can see what you're doing with your tag. Drag that layer to the bottom.

Go to the black circle layer, make that active. Click inside it with your magic wand.

Selections, invert. 

Make the Be Mine text above it active, click delete on your keyboard. Deselect.

Make the large square layer active, click inside it with your magic wand, selections, invert. 

Open paper 3, copy and paste as a new layer, click delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Make the black rectangle layer active, and do the same as above, using paper 4.

Do the same with the black circle using paper 6.

Do the same for the small square layer, using paper 7, but after you add the paper, open your close up tube, mirror it, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the square, click delete on your keyboard. Then deselect and delete the original layer. 

Change the blend mode on the tube to soft light.

Merge the top 3 text layers together (My heart beats for you layers). Add your drop shadow.

Add your main tube.

Add any elements you'd like. I used the following:

Rose card, resized 45%

Chocolates, resized 35%

Glass, resized 35%

Shoe with pearls, resize 35%

Pills resize 30%

Butterfly, resize 30%

Bird, resize 30%

Circles, flip, rotate to right 25, drop opacity to 60

Crop, resize, add copyright info and your name and save!

Winter White

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac, which you need a license to use.  

Scrap kit of choice. I am using White Christmas, a PTU by Farrah's Designer Scraps.

Font of choice, I am using Orange Fizz

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I used 1,1, 50, 5 throughout.

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 white background.

Open frame 2, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 38%.

Click inside it with your magic wand, expand by 2.

Open a paper of your choice, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 38%.

Selections, invert, click delete on your keyboard.

Keep selected.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer,

arrange in your frame, click delete on your keyboard and deselect.

Change the blend mode to luminance (L).

Add the following elements:

Pinecones, resize by 25%

Trees, resize by 25% then 90%

Snowman, resize by 25%

Click on your frame layer, selections, modify, expand 15.

Add a new raster layer above the background layer, flood fill with #787c7b.

Deselect

Adjust blur, gaussian blur by 15 or 25 depending on what you like.

Add your main tube.

Crop, resize, add you copyrights and name, then save!
