Malifica






For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Alicia Mujica (Maleficia) which you need a license to use. 

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  a PTU kit, Maleficent 1 by Bibi's Creations

Font of choice, I am using Darks Skyrim Font

Plugins: No outside plugins used
I do use Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow on all my copyrights/credits layers
I do this because some forums will make a .png tag show up with a black background and then your
copyright doesn't show.



Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.


Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 1000 x 850 pixels with a white background

Add the following, you can check my tag for reference:

element 155 resize  70% arrange slightly to the right of the center
duplicate & mirror
element 5 resize  75% arrange to the left of 155
element 28 resize  45% arrange to the left of the brick wall
element 128 resize  75% arrange behind the other stump and brick wall

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 35%
arrange to the right of and below the brick wall layer

element 158 resize  75% mirror & arrange on the upper right
element 58 resize  75% arrange across the bottom
element 105 resize  45% arrange in front of stumps & wall on the left
element 38 resize  35% mirror arrange so it looks like it's coming from her hand

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Surf's Up





For this tutorial you will need the following:

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Alicia Mujica (Summer 2014) which you need a license to use. 

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  a PTU kit, Coconut by Bibi's Collection

Font of choice, I am using High Boat

Mask: Horseplay's Pasture Mask 27

Plugins: No outside plugins
I do use Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow on all my copyrights/credits layers

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 1000 x 1000  pixels with a white background

open 35 copy and paste as a new layer 
open 4 copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the center, in front of the sand
duplicate, mirror arrange on the left, duplicate, arrange on the right
open 56 copy and paste as a new layer arrange on the right, between the sand and other
water layers, duplicate & mirror

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 45%
arrange between the water layers and the sand layer

For the rest of the elements I used:
element 54 resize  55% arrange on the right, behind the paddles & sand
element 9 resize  40% arrange behind tube layer on the left
element 60 resize  50% arrange on rock

element 13 resize  40% arrange in water, on left in front of tube, duplicate, mirror
and drag this layer behind the tube layer. erase any bits that show below the water layers

element 23 resize  35% arrange so it looks like it's hanging in the palm tree
element 22 resize  35% arrange in the water on the right
element 51 resize  35% arrange in front of all the water layers on the left, drop opacity to 45

Add paper 4 above the white background
apply your mask

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Alicia Mujica CT Tag Show Off

These tags are made using one of the 3 new Sugar Cloud Special Edition tubes. 
They come in a 3 pack, and this tube is called Lula. You can purchase them here




Sea Lovers





For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Derzi from Beehive Studios, Sea Lovers, which you need a license to use.
This tube can be used with just the girl tube, just the boy tube, or both of them together. There
are also several color choices for you to pick from. 

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit In the Kingdom of Depth by Graphics of Fantasy

Font of choice, I am using Virginia Sky

Mask: Vix Big Mask 1

Plugins: No Outside Plugins
I do use Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow on all my copyrights/credits layers

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 1000 x 1000 pixels with a white background

open frame 5 copy and paste as a new layer
click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2,
add a new raster layer above the white background
open paper 2 make sure you are on the empty raster layer you just made
copy and paste into selection, then deselect

open your tubes, copy and paste both as a new layer, resize each to 65%
arrange the boy on the left and the girl on the right

Now we'll add our elements, you can check my tag for an example where to put things

element 8 arrange on the top left, duplicate & mirror
element 6 55% arrange on bottom right, duplicate & mirror
element  20 arrange on bottom left, under the frame & background layer, duplicate & mirror
element 13 resize 80% arrange on the bottom in the center
element 53 resize 55 % arrange on bottom to the left
element 56  arrange above the water background, change blend mode to Luminance (L) and drop to 70% opacity
element 12 arrange just above the frame on the right

add paper 1 above your white background
add your mask
Mine was a little too dark, so I lowered the opacity to 50

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Lady Summer




For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Ninaste at Beehive studio (Ladybug Tube) which you need a license to use. 
This tube has several layers with different hair and clothing color choices and wings in different colors, so it
is very versitile to use.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit,Ladybug Garden by Amy Marie Kits

Font of choice, I am using 2Peas Champagne

Mask: of your choice

Plugins: No outside plugins used

open element 23 copy and paste as a new layer, rotate right 90 resize 90%
click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2, selections, invert
open paper 15 copy and paste as a new layer
click delete on your keyboard,leave selected


Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 76%
arrange in your frame
erase the bits that hang out of your frame where you don't want them

element 12 arrange on far right side of frame
element 118 resize  85% mirror, rotate left 12 & arrange along the bottom
element 132 mirror & arrange on the bottom
element 79 resize  75% arrange on right side, just above element 12 layer

element 6 resize  15% arrange in the flowers on the bottom left


add paper 11 above the white background
apply your mask

Spring Boy



For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Derzi at Beehive Studio, which you need a license to use. 
This tube is called Spring Boy and he's part of the Flower Blast Collection which comes with 7 Chibbies tubes

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  a PTU kit Flower Blast Collection, by Tiny Turtle Designs
made to match the whole Flower Blast Collection by Derzi.

Font of choice, I am using Piranha

Mask: Boundless Bliss Grunge Mask 1 (site no longer available but she allows links to the mask)

Plugins: No outside plugins used

element 159 arrange on right, behind fence layer
element 33 resize  25% duplicate once & mirror the duplicate, arrange them along the fence
element 149 resize  30% arrange in the front of the grass and flowers at the bottom right
element 139 resize  65% arrange on the left
element 172 arrange behind the fence on the right 

element 209, resize 15% arrange by the flowers along the fence,
duplicate, mirror it, resize 60%, duplicate it
resize the duplicate 75% duplicate it
resize the duplicate 75% and mirror it, arrange them how you like

 Copy and paste paper 30 above the white background
apply your mask

Seaside






For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Ninaste (Summer Beauty) which you need a license to use. 
This tube has several color choice layers and you can use her with or without the hat and glasses.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit, Aquatic Beauty by Amy Marie Kits

Font of choice, I am using 2Peas Melissa

Mask: becky mask 23

Plugins: No outside plugins
I do use Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow on all my copyrights/credits layers

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 pixels with a white background

open element 140 copy and paste as a new layer resize 150%
take your Freehand Selection tool set on point to point, click on one area along the frame, then go over slightly,
click again, and keep moving slightly over and clicking until you are back to the beginning point,
once you get back to the beginning point, double click
selections, invert
open paper 2 copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the frame
click delete on your keyboard, leave selected

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 75%
erase where the legs hang over the bottom, deselect

 Now for the elements

 element 47 duplicate a few times, flip and move around, then once you get it how you like it, merge them all together and take your eraser tool and erase the edges to clean the edges up a bit
arrange along the bottom of the frame under the frame layer

element 27 resize  % arrange around the bottom of the frame,
element 41 resize  45% arrange on the bottom left duplicate, arrange on the right
element 34 resize  55% arrange behind rocks
element 52 resize  45% arrange to the right
element 62resize  45% arrange by the green leaves & rocks
element 37 resize  45% arrange on bottom right

 add paper 10 above the white background
apply your mask
 
crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed

Mother's Day






For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Ishika Chowdhury (Ma) which you need a license to use. 
This beautiful tube has 3 different layers with different dress colors.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit, Bright As Flowers by Black Widow Creationz

Font of choice, I am using Daisy Delights

Mask: of your choice

Hide the white background, merge visible, unhide white background
 Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 55% 
arrange along the left side of the frame


 Now we'll add the elements


 element 30 arrange on the right side, below the tube, duplicate,
mirror and erase the grassy bits on the left side

element 39 arrange on the left, between tube & frame
element 5 resize  80% arrange along bottom of frame
element 6 resize  45% mirror, arrange by tube
element 8 resize  35% arrange by tube

element 32 resize  35% arrange behind tube on left, duplicate, rotate left 35, drag up a little higher
than the original, go back to the original, duplicate, mirror, drag back with the other 2

element 15 resize  55% mirror, arrange below the 3 flowers on the left

add a paper above the white background
apply your mask

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Little Mermaid



For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Elias Chatzouids (Sirena) which you need a license to use. 

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit by Graphics of Fantasy called In the Kingdom of Depth
available at Graphics of Fantasy Store and PFD

Font of choice, I am using Scriptina

Mask: Becky_Maks023 her blog is no longer available but you can download 
at the 4shared site, as she left them up for people to download

Plugins: No outsie plugins
I do use Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow on all my copyrights/credits layers

click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2, add a new raster layer below the frame
open paper 1 copy and paste into selection
deselect

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, arrange on the left side of frame

Now add the following elements

 element 20 arrange below the mermaid tube on the left
element 31 mirror & arrange between the sand & tube on the left
element 26 mirror & arrange on right

element 34 resize  110% arrange below the frame layer on the right
lower the opacity to 70

element 6 resize  45% arrange by the tube's tail, duplicate, drag to the left
element 12 resize  45% arrange in front of grass by tube's tail
element 8 arrange on top left of frame, duplicate & mirror, merge together add drop shadow

element 59 resize  35% mirror & arrange on the left, just above the background paper layer
drop the opacity to 50

element 57 resize  25% arrange on right, just above the background paper layer, drop opacity to 70

add paper 2 above the white background
apply your mask, I then resized 125%, pulled it to the left, duplicated, 
then on the duplicate, mirrored and flipped it and dragged that to the right and merged the 2 together.

A Fairy Is Near






For this tutorial you will need the following:

Now we'll just build our tag by adding our scrap kit elements,
I used the following

 element fr2 resize  75% arrange behind the tube
click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2, selections, invert
open paper 2 copy and paste as a new layer
click delete on your keyboard,

 Open another tube by the same artist, copy  and paste as a new layer
arrange on the left, click delete on your keyboard. Change the blend mode to Luminance(L)
drop the opacity to 45, duplicate & mirror - deselect
 
 element 7 resize  75% arrange across the bottom of the frame
 element 21 arrange behind the frame on the left, duplicate & mirror, duplicate & drag to the center
erase the extra bits that show on the left from the 3rd layer

 element vrac 19 resize  35% arrange on the left side of the frame, duplicate & mirror
 element 8 resize  25% arrange on the right side
element 4 resize  25% arrange behind the other mushrooms & the grass layer on the right

element 22 resize 25% arrange to the left of the tube, duplicate, mirror, drag back over by the original
merge these two layers together, duplicate 3 times, arrange around the frame

element wa1 resize  75% selections, select all, float, defloat, modify, expand 2, 
add a new raster layer below the word art, flood fill with #384300,
deselect, merge these two layers together
arrange word art where you want it on your tag

Treachery On High Seas

add the following
element 23  arrange to the left of and behind the tube
element 25 resize  65% arrange to the left of and behind the chest
element 60 resize  65% arrange between the chest and the tube
element 39 arrange in front of chest
element 40 resize  50% arrange on left side of chest by books
element 92 resize 80% arrange behind tube, duplicate & mirror
element 19 resize  40% arrange on the top of the left tree
element 20 resize  75% arrange just above the mask in the center of the tag
element 150 resize  55% arrange above the trees in the center
element 99 arrange to the left of the books

element 52 resjze 30% arrange in her hand, 
drop the opacity so you can see her through the paper, and take your eraser set on about 3 pixels
and slowly erase her thumb, and nothing else, then bring the opacity back up to 100%

add the word art to the scroll paper
add the name you want on the paper below the word art

Copy and paste paper 8 above the white background
apply your mask

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
 and save
