Wonderland



For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Arthur Crowe, which you need a license to use.  
This tube, Wonderful Babe is not yet in the store at the time of this tutorial but is coming soon.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using the matching scrap kit, Wonderful Babe, by Kizzed by Kelz,
which is also coming soon and will be released along with the tube. 

Font of choice, I am using Wonderland

Mask of choice

Plugins: No outisde plugins used



Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.


Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 with a white background.

Open frame, copy and paste as a new layer
click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2
Open paper 5, copy and paste as a new layer, selections, invert, click delete on your keyboard.
Make sure this layer is below your frame, leave selected
Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, erase the bits that hang over the bottom of the frame

Add the following, check my tag for exact placement:

Chair, resize 60% arrange on left
Mad Hatter, resize 45% put him in the chair
white rabbit, resize 60%

foilage, arrange on right, duplicate, resize 80%, drag down a little, duplicate and drag down, mirror and bring back on right
Flower, arrange, duplicate 3 or 4 times, resize some by 80%, and mirror some, arrange above and between the foilage
Merge all the flower & foilage layers together, duplicate and mirror


Crown, resize 40% arrange on left behind flowers & foilage
Books, resize 40% arrange on bottom right
cake on plate, resize 40% arrange on bottom right, on top of books
magic potion, resize 40% arrange on bottom right by books
Sugar, resize 30% arrange on top right behind foilage

Teapot, resize 30%, rotate left 15, arrange partway down the foilage, erase bits so it looks like the bottom of it is behind the flowers (I usually drop the opacity to about 50 so I can see where the flowers are and it helps for erasing)

Tea, resize 35% arrange below the teapot in the foilage, erase some of it like we did the teapot so it looks nestled in the foilage

Queen of hearts, resize 45%, arrange on the top, behind the crown
Chess pieces, resize 25%, arrange through the foilage on the left like we did the tea service on the right, erasing bits as needed

Falling cards, arrange on left behind frame & above framed background

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Naughty Baker



For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac which you need a license to use.  
This tube is not yet in the store and is a preview of tubes coming soon to the store.
It will be in the store within a day or two of this tut being published.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  2013 Hot Baking, which is the matching scrap kit by Kandii Popz
which will be available for purchase in Ismael Rac's store as soon as the tube is released.
The kit comes in two different choices, red & gold or purple & turquoise. 

Font of choice, I am using Porongo


Plugins: No outside plugins

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 and I also used 5, -2, 50, 5 for some of the stuff on the left side of the tag (or just use what looks right to you


Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 with a white background

Open frame 2 , copy and paste as a new layer, resize 75%
click inside with magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2
Open paper 8, copy and paste as a new layer, selections, invert, click delete on your keyboard,
deselect

Open oven, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 75%

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange on left of frame
If using the same tube as me, resize 45%

Open the cookie jar, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 45%, mirror and arrange on the oven
(yes I know cookies don't go on top of the oven, but we need to be creative and use what we have here! lol)
Stack of cookies, resize 25% arrange on stove by cookie jar

Now we'll arrange the other elements around the frame. 
Use the following and check my tag for exact placement:

Mixer, resize 40% rotate left 17
cuppy 1 resize 40%, rotate left 17
cuppy 2 resize 40%, rotate right 17
Sugar, resize 40%
Flour, resize 40%, rotate right 17
Mortar & pessel, resize 40%, rotate left 17
Milk, resize 40%

Add your mask if you're using one (I used paper 2)
Crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

City Swag





For this tutorial you will need the following:

Scrap kit of choice. I am using City Bling by Inzpired Creationz
available at Pimp My Tags With Scraps  

Font of choice, I am using Razing


Plugins: Alien Skin 4000 Shadow Lab - use on whatever elements you like & your tube
I used the following setting on my elements

Banner:

Open a new canvas 600 x 250 pixels, white background

Open paper 14, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 75%

Open city scene 1, copy and paste as a new layer

Open car 3, resize 50% arrange on left

Open word art, resize 50% add drop shadow 5, 5, 100, 10

Cocktail 1, resize 30% use same drop shadow as on word art

Make your white background layer active, click on your crop tool
crop to layer opaque 
then selections, select all, float, defloat, modify
set selection borders 3
add a new raster layer at the top and flood fill with a metallic gradient that looks good with your tag

Add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Prima Ballerina



For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Alicia Mujica, which you need a license to use.  
I bought my tube when she was at PTE but she is now an independent artist.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using Prima Ballerina, a PTU kit by Inzpired Creationz,

Font of choice, I am using Honeybee

Mask: gemsmask217 from GemsTaggin Scraps

Plugins: No outside plugins used

Let's get started!


Open a new canvas 850 x 850 with a white background

Open frame 3 copy and paste as a new layer

Take your freehand selection tool set at point to point and go just inside the inside frame edge, once you get back around to the beginning, double click.
Selections, invert

Open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, click delete on your keyboard, make sure this is below your frame. Deselect

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange.
I erased the marionette strings on mine where they went above the top of the frame and over the black flowers

Open roses 1 and roses 2, resize by 50% copy and paste as a new layer,
arrange on the canvas, duplicate a few times and arrange
mirror and rotate as needed

Add the following elements, checking my tag for placement:
 Eiffel tower resize 45%, rotate right 15, erase the bit that hangs over the black flower so it looks like it's going behind it

Dress form, resize 40%  rotate right 15
ballet slippers 1, resize 40%
brooch, resize 40%
swirly tree, arrange on left, drag that layer so it's between the flower layers, erase any bits that are over things you don't want them to be over, like the ballet slippers, etc
bird, resize 40%

Open paper 20, copy and paste as a new layer just above the white background, apply your mask

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Meet Me at the Beach




For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Roman Zaric, which you need a license to use.  

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU scarp kit that matches this tube, called Magnoly by Desirena Designs
which is a matching kit for the tube


Font of choice, I am using CAC Shishoni Brush

Plugins: No outside plugins used



Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.


Let's get started!


Open your template, shift D to duplicate and close the original

Change the template size to 850 x 850, unhide the white background and flood fill the rest of the way with white

Delete Raster 1

Fill the layers with papers, to do this make sure the layer you want to fill has been clicked on in your layer palette. 
Click inside the shape with your magic wand, selections, modify, invert, open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, 
click delete on your keyboard.
Delete the original template layer

Some layers, like the frames, you may just want to flood fill with a color from your kit. To do this, click on the layer in your layer palette, add another raster layer above it,
click inside the shape with your magic wand, and flood fill it with your color
Delete the original template layer

I used the following papers for each layer:
Layers 1, 5, 6 use paper 7
Layer 2 use paper 1 
Layer 3 & 4 use paper 4
Layer 7 leave as is

I made the word art pop a little by clicking on the blue word art layer, selections, select all, float, defloat, modify, expand 3, make a new raster layer below it and flood fill with white, add some noise.
Make the white word art active set your foreground at #e45e5b and background white,
Take your color changer tool and run it over the word to change the color, then follow the steps for the blue layer. Merge all the word art together and add your drop shadow.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, if you are using the same one as me, resize by 45%
arrange and erase any bits that hang over where you don't want them.

Back 2 School



For this tutorial you will need the following:

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  PTU kit, Back to School  - Pink by Designs by Sarah  

Font of choice, I am using  C.A. Gatintas


Plugins: Alien Skin Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

Let's get started!

 Open a new canvas 1000 x 850 with a white background

Open board 1, copy and paste as a new layer move up a little on your canvas

Open desk, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 70% arrange on the right.

Open your tube copy and paste as a new layer, arrange. 
Open paper 4, copy and paste as a new layer, drag it over so its edges line up at the top and left, duplicate
and drag it over so that it lines up with the far right edge of the paper on the left, merge them together,
duplicate and drag it down so that it lines up on the bottom.
Now apply your mask.
You can just enlarge it if you want, I just didn't want the pattern in the paper to be so big.


Add the following elements, see my tag for exact placement
Books 1  resize 35%
backpack resize 35%
notebook, resize 20%
calculator resize 20%
stapler, resize 20%
ruler, resize 40%
Pen resize 20%
scissors resize 40%

word arts 1, 2, & 3 resize each by 50%
add a gradient glow with a width of 6 and make the glow pink & white

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Spring Blooms



For this tutorial you will need the following:

He is currently at CDO, but when I got my tube, he was at CILM

Scrap kit of choice. I am using Spring Blooms by Bookworm Dezines, available at Scrap Candy.  

Summertime Template 1BD by Brutal Designs, it's the second link down the page. It will say "2013 Summertime Templates" not the grey toned templates at the top.

Font of choice, I am using Say Something

Mask: gemsmasks21 from Gems Taggin Scraps

Delete the copyright layer

Resize the whole thing by 80%

change canvas size to 850 x 850 and flood fill the background layer white

Fill the layers with papers, to do this make sure the layer you want to fill has been clicked on in your layer palette. 
Click inside the shape with your magic wand, selections, modify, invert, open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, 
click delete on your keyboard.
Delete the original template layer

Any layer that has a gradient will need to be selected in the following way, 
make the layer active in your layer palette, 
selections, select all, float, defloat, invert, then fill with papers as above

I used the following papers on each layer

Gradient square use paper 4
Grey square use paper 14
grey oval use paper 6 resized 80%
beige circle paper 16
teal circle use paper 8
gradient rectangle use paper 1

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, erase any bits that hang over where you don't want

Genie In a Bottle

Bang Bang

Using your selection tool, click inside the frame
selections, modify, expand 3, invert
Open paper 8, copy and paste as a new layer, click delete on your keyboard
drag this layer below the frame

Open element 20, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 67%, drag that layer below the frame 
layer in your layer palette and drag it up so it's showing across the top of the frame

Open element 22, copy and paste as a new layer, drag below the frame but above the paper layer,
arrange in the frame where you want it resize 67%
Do the same with element 15

Open element 19, copy and paste as a new layer, flip, arrange on bottom left, duplicate & mirror

Element 25, arrange on top left

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange on the left. If you are using the same tube as me, resize it 40%

Open element 24, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 80%

Open element 23 copy and paste as a new layer, resize %

Open paper 10, copy and paste as a new layer right above the white background, 
apply your mask. Mine wasn't big enough or dark enough so I resized it
by 105% and then duplicated it and merged the two layers together.

now just crop & resize
add your copyrights and credits as needed
add your text and save

Alaina's Dream



For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Keith Garvey which you need a license to use.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using Magical Dream a PTU kit by Inzpired Creationz  available at Pimp My Tags With Scraps.

Font of choice, I am using Penabico


Plugins: no ourside plugins needed

Let's get started!

Open your template, shift D to duplicate, close the original.

Delete Raster 7, 10, 12 and copy of  Vector 11

Change the cavas size to something like 950 x 850 so you have more room to work

Fill the layers with papers, to do this make sure the layer you want to fill has been clicked on in your layer palette. 
Click inside the shape with your magic wand, selections, modify, invert, open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, 
click delete on your keyboard.
Delete the original template layer

Some layers, like the frames or dotted lines, you may just want to flood fill with a color from your kit. To do this, click on the layer in your layer palette, add another raster layer above it,
click inside the shape with your magic wand, and flood fill it with your color
Delete the original template layer

I used these papers for each layer:
Raster 3 & 5 use paper 3
Raster 2 & 4 use paper 1
Raster 6 use paper 2
Raster 1 use paper 11
Raster 11, 9 & 8 use paper 5

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange on your tag, and erase the bits the hang over where you don't want them.

Add the following elements, check my tag for exact placement

Branch 1, resize 65% duplicate, mirror, duplicate again and drag over toward the empty area in the bottom middle
Rose 1, resize 28% duplicate a few times and arrange around on the leaves
Flower 2, resize 31% duplicate and arrange around on the leaves
Flower 4, resize 28% duplicate and arrange around on the leaves
Bow 1, resize 55%, duplicate & mirror
Bow 2, resize 60%
Bird resize 30%
Fairy dust resize 50%
scattered petals drag layer below tube and above template layers
Doodle 1 drag just below scattered petals layer
Lanterns, resize 75% arrange on left just under the tube, duplicate & mirror


Open paper 12, copy and paste as a new layer just above the white background layer and apply your mask
My mask wasn't quite dark enough so I duplicated it a couple times and merged the layers together.

Crop & resize
add your copyrights & credits as needed
add text and save

Angel & Fireflies

For the banner: 

Open a new canvas 600 x 250 pixels with a white background

Open paper 13, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the canvas where you want it.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 50%, arrange on the right

Open vine 2 copy and paste as a new layer, resize 65% arrange on the left

Open lights 1 copy and paste as a new layer, drag it below the tube and arrange it

Open jar, resize 35%, arrange behind the vine on the left

Open lightening bug, resize 20%, duplicate a few times and arrange where you like around the banner.

Click on the white background layer, selections, select all, modify, select selection borders, 3

Add a new raster layer at the top of the layer palette and flood fill the selection with #687997 or another color from your tube or kit that goes well with it.

Add your copyright and credits
add your text and save

For the avatar:

Open a new canvas 150 x 150 (or whatever size the forum you are using it on allows) with a white background

Now we will just copy stuff from the banner tag and paste it into the avatar and arrange it.

Copy these items:
paper background
vine
fireflies

Click on the white background and add a frame along the edge of your avatar using the same steps we did above for the banner.

Add whatever copyright info you need
Add your text and save

Misbehavin'

Delete by Missy Layer

Fill the layers with papers, to do this make sure the layer you want to fill has been clicked on in your layer palette. 
Click inside the shape with your magic wand, selections, modify, invert, open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, 
click delete on your keyboard.
Delete the original template layer


These are the papers I used for each layer:
Square 1 & 2, small circles right & left, thin rectangle & rectangle, use paper 1
thin rectangle 1 & small circle, use paper 9
Large circle use paper 6
 frame back use paper 4

To change the word art colors, make sure the word art layer is active, and select your color changer tool
right click on the color you want to change
left click on the color you want to change it to
then run your color changer over the word art

Make your frame back layer active, selections select all, float, defloat, invert
Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the frame,
click delete on your keyboard
Duplicate, and on the top layer, adjust blur, gaussian 3
change the blend mode to soft light
on the bottom layer change the blend mode to Luminance(L) and drop opacity to 55

Open your main tube, copy and paste as a new layer,
I resized mine 80%

Now add your elements, check my tag for exact placement:

camisole, resize 80% rotate left 20
bag resize 50%
sunglasses resize 35%
cupcake resize 50%
strawberry, resize 50%, duplicate, mirror
cocktail, resize 65%
chocolate strawberry, resize 20%
sparkles

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Angel



For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac, which you need a license to use.  
This tube is a preview of tubes coming soon to the store. If it's not there when 
you see this tut posted, give it a day or two and it will be there.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  2013 Angel by Kizzed by Kelz, which is also coming soon and will be released with the tube.

Font of choice, I am using Scriptina

Mask: WSL84

Plugins: Xero Porcelain



Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.


Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 pixels with a white background.

Open frame 2, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 120%
click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 3,
selections, invert
Open paper, copy and paste as a new layer, click delete on your keyboard, leave selected
Open your tube, copy merged, and paste as a new image & mirror it. 
Then copy it again, this time into your canvas, arrange in the frame and click delete on your keyboard.
Deselect.
Duplicate & on the top layer, adjust blur, gaussian 3, change the blend mode to soft light
Apply Xero Porcelain to the bottom layer, use default settings, except change blue to zero
Drop the opacity to 60

Copy and paste your main tube and arrange on the right.

Add the following elements, check my tag for exact placement:
harp, resize 80%
clouds & clouds 2
hearts line
key, resize 50%
wings heart, resize 30%
sparkle stars, arrange on left, duplicate & pull over to right
word art, colorize Hue 241 Saturation 140 resize 65%

Open paper 8, copy and paste as a new layer right above the white background layer, apply your mask

crop & resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text &  save

Ethereal Honey


For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Keith Garvey which you need a license to use.  

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a PTU kit by Bookworm Dezines called Ethereal, which is available at Scrap Candy

Font of choice, I am using PW Noodle Thing


Plugins: Xero Porcelain

Click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand by 3, invert
Open paper 2, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in frame, click delete on your keyboard
Leave selected & open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the frame,
take your eraser tool and erase the bits that hang over the frame where you don't want
duplicate the tube, adjust blur, gaussian 3 on the top one, change the blend mode to soft light
on the bottom, apply Xero Porcelain with default settings, except change the blue to zero

Add the following elements, look at my tag for exact placement:
I applied Xero Porcelain to all the elements, the same as the tube
element 27, resize 80%

element 29, resize 80%, drag to the right and up a little, 
make sure it's below element 27 in the layer palette

element 9, resize 65%, rotate left 30
element 31 resize 45%, mirror
element 5, resize 45%
element 38

Open paper 8, copy and paste as a new layer just above the white background layer, 
apply your mask.

Crop and resize your tag
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Ines




For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Roman Zaric which you need a license to use.  
At the time of this tutorial, the tube I used was a preview of a tube called Ines that is coming soon to the store. It will be out within a day or two of this tutorial being posted.


Scrap kit of choice. I am using  the matching scrap kit by Rissa's Designs, which is also coming to Roman's store and will be released along with the tube.

Font of choice, I am using Scriptina

Mask: WSL_Mask84 the link to her masks is on the right side of the blog

Plugins: no outside plugins used

Open your tube, mirror it. If you're using the same one I did, resize by 70%
copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the frame, click delete
Lower the opacity to about 80 and deselect

Add the following elements, check my tag for exact placement:
Clock resize 40%
Rose 1 resize 75% rotate left by 90
Rose 2, resize 30%
Rose heart, resize 25%
Resize and duplicate the flowers a few times and arrange across the bottom
Ribbon 2, resize 50%

Add your main tube. If you are using the same one as me, I resized to 40%

Open paper 5, copy and paste as a new layer just above the white background, apply your mask.

Crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Lovely


For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Roman Zaric, which you need a license to use.  

Scrap kit of choice. I am using a FTU kit by Wicked Princess Scraps called You Are Beautiful.
She has a link on here post sending you to here mediafire folder to download FTU kits.
When you click my link to go to her page, it will have a link in that post to go to her mediafire page and you will have to scroll through the pages to get the kit. They are posted in alphabetical order though, so it's not too hard to find. :) 


Font of choice, I am using GeeKnee


Plugins: Eye candy 4000 gradient glow, Penta.com color dot

Let's get started!

Open your template, shift D to duplicate, close the original.

Delete raster 3 & small squares layers

Change the canvas size to 850 x 850 pixels

Flood fill the background layer with white


Fill the layers with papers, to do this make sure the layer you want to fill has been clicked on in your layer palette. 
Click inside the shape with your magic wand, selections, modify, invert, open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, 
click delete on your keyboard.
Delete the original template layer

Some layers,  you may just want to flood fill with a color from your kit. To do this, click on the layer in your layer palette, add another raster layer above it,
click inside the shape with your magic wand, and flood fill it with your color
Delete the original template

I used these papers on each layer:
Raster 2 & copy of raster 2, use paper 4
rectangle shape left & right, use paper 3
square left & right, use paper 2
rectangle back, use paper 10

For the three white frames, add/remove noise with these settings:

Rectangle: No paper, apply penta.com color dot with the following settings top to bottom

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange on right

Add the following elements, see my tag for placement
Flower swag 2
Flower cluster 3, resize 50%
wire drag down below all the frames
Doodle, resize 50% apply gradient glow of 4 white 
flower scatter, resize 50%

Open paper 9, copy and paste as a new layer right above the white background layer, apply your mask

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save
