For this tutorial you will need the following:
Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.
Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Tim Lowry, which you need a license to use. You can find him at AIL.
Scrap kit of choice. I am using Eternity, a PTU kit by Wicked Princess Scraps. You can go here to her blog and see a list of the stores she sells at in the upper left side of the blog.
Font of choice, I am using
Plugins: Xero Porcelain
Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.
Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.
Let's get started!
Open a new canvas 750 x 750 with a white background.
Open square frame, resize by 80%.
Take your freehand selection tool, set on point to point & the mode on add, and click on each of the 4 corners, slightly in from the edge. Once you get all the corners clicked, go back to the first corner and double click on it, you'll have a square of marching ants.
Now go to selections, invert.
Open paper 2, copy and paste as a new layer between the frame and white background layer.
Click delete on your keyboard and deselect.
Open circle frame, copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 85%.
Click inside it with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand by 3, selections, invert.
Open a paper, copy and paste as a new layer, click delete on your keyboard, drag the paper below the frame layer, and leave selected.
Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange where you want it, click delete on your keyboard.
Duplicate your tube, on the top layer, adjust blur, gaussian blur of 3, change the blend mode to soft light.
On the bottom tube apply Xero Porcelain with the default settings.
Copy your main tube and paste as a new layer, arrange it on the left side.
Open glitter, copy and paste as a new layer, drag down so it's just above the white background.
Arrange it to the right, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and pull it to the left.
Add any elements you'd like. I used the following:
Heart scatter, resized by 85%, mirrored
Jar, resized by 30%
Chocolate Box resized by 30%
Candlestick resized by 30%
Bag, resized by 30%
Rose bunch, resize by 30%, duplicate twice,
move one over to the left of the first bunch, then mirror the last one
Crop and resize
Add your credits and/or copyrights as needed.
Ass your name and save!
