For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X7, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Alicia Mujica, Rudolph 2018

 which you need a license to use.  

Scrap kit of choice. I am using Nutcracker by Alicia Mujica

Font of choice, I am using Digs My Hart

TEmplate 707 by Millie's PSP Madness

Plugins: Xero Porcelain

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.



Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

 

Let's get started!

Open your template, shift D to duplicate and close the original

resize canvas 900 x 800

Delete the following layers

CR

Fill the layers with papers, to do this make sure the layer you want to fill has been clicked on in your layer palette. 

Click inside the shape with your magic wand, selections, modify, invert, open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, 

click delete on your keyboard.

Delete the original template layer

Some layers, like the frames, you may just want to flood fill with a color from your kit. To do this, click on the layer in your layer palette, add another raster layer above it,

click inside the shape with your magic wand, and flood fill it with your color

Delete the original template layer

layer 3 use paper 2 resized to 800 pixels

layer 1 & 2 flood fill with #f3da98


layer 4 & 11  use paper


 


Make layer 7 active, click inside with your magic wand, copy and paste your tube 


as a new layer, resize 70%, arrange in circle, invert, click delete on your keyboard


Apply zero porcelain with default settings, duplicate,


on top copy, adjust blur, gaussian 10, change blend mode to screen





Do the same thing for layer 10







Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 25%





arrange in the center of the tag













Add the following elements:




cluster 2 resize 23% arrange below the tube layer, on left
cannister resize 23% mirror & arrange on right between layers 4 & 5


nutcracker 3 resize 23% then 50% arrange to the left of the tube

crop and resize

add your text and save

Alicia Mujica Nutcracker

Open a new canvas 900 x 900 pixels with a white background

Add the following elements:

 cluster 3 resize 35% 

ballerina resize 35% arrange in center of cluster 3
cluster 2 resize 35% mirror & arrange
branches 3 resize 35% arrange on left, erase right side, 
paste again, resize 35%, erase left side, arrange on bottom
Christmas ball 4 resize 30% twice, arrange on window frame on left

add a new raster layer above white background,
open our mask, apply new mask layer, merge group

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save

Alicia Mujica Winter Time Forum Set

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 600 x 250 pixels with #666180 background

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 45%
arrange on the left

Add your elements

window resize 45% arrange on left under tube, duplicate,
mirror, drag below original layer, slide to left 
wall clock resize 25% arrange over window on right
cluster 2 resize 25% arrange under clock layer on right
cannister resize 25% arrange below cluster 2 layer, drag to the top


Make sure you're on the background layer, activate your crop tool, choose
crop layer opaque and then click on your tag to crop

On background layer, selections, select all, float, defloat, modify, contract 3,
invert, make a new raster layer at the top, flood fill with #670e27, selections, invert,
contract by 5, add a new raster layer below that, invert, flood fill with #738c2d, 
selections, invert, add a new raster layer below that, contract 3, invert,
flood fill with the red again.
Deselect, merge the 3 frame layers

I did a drop shadow on the frame with the following settings:
-1, -1, 50, 5 and again changing the -1 both to 1

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save

Open a new canvas 200 x 200 or whatever size your forum uses

Merge all layers of tag except frame, and any text layers, 

copy and paste on avatar canvas, resize 80%, arrange in canvas

Create a new frame using the same manner as the banner. 



Add necessary credits and text and save.

word art resize 25% arrange on bottom left
apply eye candy fat, 7, white then thin 5, #a03f47

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Delete the following layers

I resized all papers to about 800 x 800 pixels before I used them
Click inside the shape with your magic wand, selections, modify, invert, open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, 
click delete on your keyboard.
Delete the original template layer

Some layers, like the frames, you may just want to flood fill with a color from your kit. To do this, click on the layer in your layer palette, add another raster layer above it,
click inside the shape with your magic wand, and flood fill it with your color
Delete the original template layer

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 40%
arrange in your tag below the circle layers
erase the bits that hang out below where you don't want them

Fill the following layers with these papers or colors:

layer 5 use paper 1c
layer 2 & 3 use color changer tool and change to a color from your tube
layer 1 use paper 1i
layer 13, 10, 7 color changer tool change #fc7260 to #ede2c5
layer 5, 8 , 11 flood fill with #e0b5bf

Copy and paste your resized tube, and go on layers 7, 10, & 13
make them active, using the same technique as you do to fill with a paper,
then copy and paster your tube in each
then, apply Xero Porcelain with the factory settings for each one

Flood fill layer 14 with #e0b5bf, adjust, add remove noise, 85%
selections, select all, float, defloat, expand 3, add new raster layer, 
flood fill with white, add drop shadow to white layer

add the following elements:
branch 2a resize 35% rotate right 90 arrange on right,duplicate & mirror
label 1 a resize to 645 on longest side arrange above white background

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text and save 

Winter Love - Alicia Mujica

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 35%
arrange in your frame

Add the following elements:

cluster 6 resize 35% then 55% arrange below tube layer on left
branch 3 resize 25% arrange along bottom
cluster 2 resize 25% arrange on top left, duplicate, & mirror

crop and resize

add your copyright and credits as needed

add your text (I added glow of 5 white, fat) and save

Add the following elements: 

tree 5 resize 35% arrange between cluster and tube on left


reindeer resize 25% arrange below the tube layer on left


I then took my eraser tool and erased parts of cluster and tree layers that looked


messy hanging out on the left side





word art 1 resize 20% arrange on bottom left, add Eye candy glow


size 12, fat, white


add it again size 5, color #b1585e, fat


rotate left 20









crop and resize



add your copyright and credits as needed

duplicate, resize 45%, mirror, arrange on top of original, duplicate first one again, 

drag to the left

Open frame 1 copy and paste as a new layer, resize 30%, 

click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2, selections, invert
open paper 1f, resize 30% copy and paste as a new layer under the frame and then
click delete on your keyboard,

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 35%
arrange in your frame
erase the bits that hang out of your frame where you don't want them

Now add elements:

Cluster 5 resize 35% arrange across bottom of frame
Flower 1b resize 25% then 35% arrange below cluster 5 in center
Signal 3 resize 20% arrange below cluster 5 on the right
Cluster 4 resize 20% flip & arrange on top right, duplicate & mirror

Open paper 2 b, resize 900 x 900 pixels, copy and paste above the white background layer

Open your mask, make sure you're on the paper layer, layers, new mask layer, from image,

find the mask in the drop down menu, click on it. Merge group

resize mask layer 90%

crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Open a new canvas 900 x 900 pixels with a white background

Open Fairytale element 2 copy and paste as a new layer, resize 35%

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 35%, arrange in the element
Add the following elements, each one will tell which kit it comes from

Sweet Honey Bee- Star & flowers, resize 3%, mirror, arrange on bottom right

below tube layer, erase pink bits on the left

Sweet Honey Bee-Honey and Flower, resize 25%, arrange on bottom right 
above tube layer, resize again 75%

Fairytale - Cartel 1, resize 25% arrange across bottom

Fairtytale - mushroom 3, resize 25%, arrange on left of Cartel 1, 
duplicate, drag below tube layer, on top layer, erase over unicorn face. 
because you have the layer below the tube, you don't have to be super 
careful because that one will show through


Make a new raster layer above the white background, flood fill with #9accdf

Open your mask

Make sure you are on the flood filled layer, Layers, new mask layer, from image

open your mask in the drop down box and apply, merge group


crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save

Sweet Liberty

For this tutorial you will need the following:

This is a unique tube, which has both a front and back view of the tube when you buy her.

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 900 x 900 pixels with a white background

Open your frame 3, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 50%

Take your eraser tool and erase one of the two frames on the outside edges. I erased the 

one on the right. Go to objects, align, center in canvas.

click inside with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand 2, selections, invert
open both copies of your tube copy and paste one as a new layer, arrange in a frame,  

click delete on your keyboard, do the same with the other tube in the other side of the frame.
Deselect, then with your eraser tool, erase where the tube shows on the opposite side.
Merge these two layers together, duplicate
On the top layer, adjust, blur, gaussian blur 10, change blend mode to soft light on your
layer pallet
On the bottom layer, apply Xero Porcelain settings 50, 50, 128, 0. 0. 255 

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize by 30%, arrange on your canvas 
just left of the center

Add the following elements
Garden 3 resize 30% then 50% arrange below the tube layer on left
Cluster 2, resize 50% twice, mirror, arrange below the tube layer on right

Duplicate the garden 3 layer, resize 60%, mirror, duplicate again. Arrange one above the 
tube layer on the right, and one on the left
Label 5a, resize 65%, arrange just above white background layer, centered behind frame

Add a new raster layer above the white background, flood fill with #145fa5

Open your mask, layers, new mask layer, with image, and find your mask in the drop down 

box and apply. Merge group, resize 75%

We're going to make a timeline and avatar for facebook. If you want a tag set for a forum, just

change the sizes of the canvas to fit your group sizes. You may have to make the elements

resized at different amounts to make it all fit how you'd like, but just play around with it 

Open a  new canvas 851 x 315 pixels with a white background

Flood fill background with #3a5f7d

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize 80%

Open corner ribbons, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 30%, arrange on the bottom left side

Duplicate your tube, on the top layer, adjust blur, gaussian 10, set opacity to soft light

On the bottom tube layer, use Xero Porcelain, 50, 128, 128, 0, 0, 255

Crop your image, on the white background layer,

selections, select all, float, defloat, contract 10, selections, invert

Add a new raster layer at the top, flood fill #c92d26

Selections, modify, contract 5, add a new raster layer on top of the previous one, 

flood fill with white, deslect

Open a new canvas 200 x 200 pixels

copy and paste your background

merge tube layers together, copy and paste. 

Crop image,

add a frame the same way we did for the banner, except change amount to contract to 7.

I didn't do the white inside this frame

duplicate your tube, drag above cluster, take your eraser tool and erase the bits
that cover the flowers, except her hair

balloons resize 20% arrange below and right of tube layer
stars resize 25% arrange above white background, duplicate & mirror, arrange on left,
duplicate mirrored copy, drag up. Merge these 3 layers together, duplicate,
drag to the right. Erase the extras that hang too far to the side

With your color set on #2c99ad take your rectangle tool and draw out a rectangle,

duplicate twice, arrange them, merge together

Make sure you're on the rectangles layer, click inside each rectangle with your magic wand 

set on add, selections, invert

Copy your tube again, paste in your canvas, arrange how you want in the rectangles, 

click delete on your keyboard, merge the tube and rectangles layers

Add a drop shadow of 8, 8, 75, 10 to the rectangles

Copy and paste your word art that came with the tube, resize 40% 

Take your eraser tool and set the hardness to around 8,size 75, shape round

 erase her legs so it looks like she's blending into the mask

Open cluster 3, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 35%

Duplicate it an mirror it drag it below the original layer

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 35% arrange just right of the center cluster

Open tag 5, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 35% arrange behind the clusers

add the following elements

cluster 6 resize  35% arrange on bottom

macarons 4  resize  35% then 45% arrange on the bottom left

cupcakes element  resize  35%  then 25% arrange on bottom right, duplicate & mirror

crop and resize

Add your copyright info and text

save your tag

Coffeeholic

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X7, you should be able to use any version.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using Coffeeholic by Alicia Mujica

Font of choice, I am using Digs My Hart

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Open a  new canvas 600 x 250 pixels with a white background

Open paper 5a, resize so width is 600 pixels, copy and paste as a new layer

Add the following elements

Cluster 7 resize 30% twice arrange on bottom left

coffee pot resize 30% twice, then 45% arrange behind cluster 7

cups resize 20%, then 45% arrange on right side of cluster 7

 macarons resize 20% then 45% arrange on bottom right


cupcakes resize 20% then 25% arrange to the left of macarons
tag 1 resize 45% then 65% arrange in center on bottom

 branch 4a resize 25% arrange just above wallpaper on left

Make sure you're on your white background layer, 
activate your crop tool, choose layer opaque then click on your tag to crop it

Now choose selections, select all, modify, contract 5, invert
add new raster layer at the top and flood fill with #1e1918

Add your copyright, text and save

Open a new canvas 200 x 200
copy and paste the background paper, cluster 7, and the stacked cups
Crop the same way you did your banner
Add the frame
Add your copyright, text and save
