Save Yo Drama

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Marilee Caruso Photography, which you need a license to use. She is at AIL

Scrap kit of choice. I am using Justice Vampire by Wicked Princess Scraps.

Font of choice, I am using Zombified

Plugins: Xero Porcelain

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Open your template, shift D to duplicate, then close the original.

Delete the credits layer.

Open paper one, click inside Raster 1 with your magic wand, copy and paste the paper, selections, invert, click delete on your keyboard and delete the original Raster 1 layer. Deselect.

Do the same for Raster 3.

Do the same for Raster 6, but use paper 10.

Fill Raster 2 & 4 the same way, but use paper 4.

Now we'll fill Raster 5, but use paper 8 and leave it selected this time.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer and arrange it in the circle. One you get it how you want it, click delete on your keyboard and then deselect.

Apply Xero Porcelain to the tube using the default settings. Duplicate your tube.
On the top copy of the tube, adjust blur, gaussian blur 3. Change the blend mode to soft light.

Copy and paste your main tube as a new layer. Once you have it where you want, apply a drop shadow of 5, 5, 100, 5 if you want a heavy drop shadow like I did on my tag, otherwise just use whatever you've been using throughout the tut.

Add any elements you'd like. I used:
Bloody Bling, erase the parts that hang outside the circular frame.
Broken heart, resize by 25%, rotate right by 20
Cemetary, arrange inside the bottom of the circle area, erase the bits that hang out, change blend mode to soft light, duplicate so it's a little darker.

Open paper 3, copy and paste as a new layer. Open your mask. Go to layers, new mask layer, from image, find the mask in the drop down box, click ok. In your layer pallet delete your mask, click yes to the pop up box, merge group to merge your mask together.

Add any text you'd like to yours, and your name, and copyright info.

Crop & resize then save!
