Wishy

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Roman Zaric which you need a license to use.
At the time of this tut, this tube is a preview of tubes that are "coming soon" to the store
it should be out within a day or two of the date of this tut

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  the matching scrap kit "Wishy" by Rissa's Designs
which will also be coming soon to Roman's store.

MC_Misfit Template 1 by Melissa, available at the Creative Misfits Creations blog.

Font of choice, I am using Daniel Script

Plugins: Alien Skin Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Open your template, shift D to duplicate, close the original
Delete the following layers: Raster 3, Merged (the top one), Raster 5

Fill the layers with papers, to do this make sure the layer you want to fill has been clicked on in your layer palette. Click inside the shape with your magic wand, selections, modify, invert, open your paper, copy and paste as a new layer, click delete on your keyboard.
For layers that have noise, or the checkerboard looking layer, instead of clicking with your magic wand, go to selections, select all, float, defloat, then invert and copy and paste your paper or add a new layer and flood fill with a color of your choosing.

These are the papers I used
Raster 7 & Raster 2, use paper 2
Raster 1, paper 7

Merged layer just above raster 7 (the long rectangles at the top and bottom) fill with white
add noise, monochrome, uniform at 75
For the merged layer, just above the two middle squares, fill with black
Raster 6 fill with #b41e1f
Raster 4 leave as is

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer, if you're using the same one I am, resize by 50%

Add the following elements, check my tag for exact placement

City scene arrange on top, behind the rectangle and frame, erase the bits that stick out beyond the edges
Silhouette add a gradient glow with the width of 5, white
I erased her hand where it was sticking out on the left
Sign, resize 45%
Speakers, resize 45% mirror, add gradient glow of 6 change the colors to white and #b41e1f
Minipod resize 35%
Martini resize 35%
Paddle resize 55%
Handcuffs resize 45% rotate left 45

Make a gradient with the foreground set at #b41e1f and the background on black
set on Linear, angle 35, repeats 3
Add a layer above the white background layer, flood fill with your gradient
apply your mask

crop & resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save
