For this tutorial you will need the following:
Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.
Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Ismael Rac, which you need a license to use.
This tube is called Classic Costume
Scrap kit of choice. I am using the matching kit called Classic Costume, by Kizzed by Kelz
also available in Ismael Rac's store.
Font of choice, I am using Abaddon
Plugins: No outside plugins used
I do use Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow on all my copyrights/credits layers
I do this because some forums will make a .png tag show up with a black background and then your
copyright doesn't show.
Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.
Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.
Let's get started!
Open a new canvas 850 x 850 pixels with a white background
open house copy and paste as a new layer resize 115% pull up a little
higher than the center area of the canvas
open your tube copy and paste as a new layer resize 40% arrange in front of house
pumkins resize 75% arrange on bottom right
eyeball resize 30% arrange above & behind pumpkins
skull resize 40% arrange to the left of the pumpkins
webcake resize 40% arrange to the left of skull
Halloween cake resize 40% arrange on the far left side of house
green pumpkin resize 45% arrange between webcake and halloween cake
pumpkin 2 resize 40% arrange in front of and slightly to the side of the green pumpkin
ghost resize 65% arrange on the top left side of house
skull candle resize 45% arrange in between cupcake and ghost on left
wreath arrange on top left behind house, duplicate & mirror
eye pop resize 55% arrange on left
devil cake, resize 55% arrange on left
star sparkle, arrange on top left, duplicate, mirror, merge together, duplicate, flip
crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save
