Play Ball

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Roman Zaric which you need a license to use.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using the matching scrap kit called Baseball Quenn by Kizzed by Kelz
which you can also find in Roman's Store.

Font of choice, I am using

Plugins: Alien Skin Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 with a white background

Open the fence element, apply GemsMask215, delete the mask, merge group
Copy and paste this into your canvas, move it towards the top left, duplicate,
move the duplicate over to the right, line them up, merge together.
Duplicate the merged layer, and move the duplicate down & line them up.
Merge the two layers together.
I thought it needed to be a big darker, so I duplicated it and then merged those two layers together.

Open paper 11, apply your mask to it. Delete the mask, merge group.
Copy and paste onto your canvas, between the white background and the fence layer.

Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer. If you're using the same tube
as me, resize about 40%

Open all star word art, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 80%, drag down to the bottom left. Apply Gradient glow of 6 color white

Open play ball word art, copy and paste, arrange on the right side, add the same gradient glow

Open sand, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange under the feet of the tube

Open all star jersey, copy and paste as a new layer, resize 60%, rotate left 25, arrange below word art on the bottom left.

Open baseball, resize 30%, arrange on top left under play ball word art

Crop and resize
add your copyright and credits as needed
add your text and save
