Garden of Eve

For this tutorial you will need the following:

Paint Shop Pro, I am using PSP X, you should be able to use any version.

Tube of choice, I am using the artwork of Arthur Crowe, which you need a license to use. I bought my tube at PSP Tubes Emporium which is no longer open. You can purchase his tubes now from his independent store here.

Scrap kit of choice. I am using  Eve's Garden a PTU kit by Alika's Scraps

Font of choice, I am using Remachine Script

Mask: Vix Big Mask 19

Plugins:  Xero Porcelain

Just remember that my choices of papers and elements is just a suggestion, change it up and make it yours! You don't have to follow mine exactly.

Add a drop shadow of your choosing to tubes & elements throughout. I usually use 1, 1, 50, 5 unless otherwise noted.

Let's get started!

Open a new canvas 850 x 850 white background.

On each of the elements, unless otherwise noted, duplicate the element, on the top element adjust blur, gaussian 3, change the blend mode to soft light, then on the bottom element, apply Xero Porcelain with the default settings except change the blue to 0. If you don't want to do it with each individual element, you can wait until you get certain areas of the tag done, like the right side, merge all of those together, then go ahead and duplicate that and apply the setting above to it.

Open as31, copy and paste as a new layer, click inside it with your magic wand, selections, modify, expand by 3. Selections, invert.

Open paper 5, arrange in the frame, click delete on your keyboard, leave selected.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the frame, click delete on your keyboard, deselect.

as02, copy and paste, arrange on the right side, near the top of the frame.

as17, copy and paste, mirror, resize by 65%, arrange on the right side, drag layer below frame layer.

as12, resize 65%, arrange on the right so it looks like the owl's sitting on it

as41, resize by 45%, arrange on bottom right near the jar

as11, resize by 45%, rotate left by 90, arrange on top right, duplicate, drag this layer lower, merge them together.

Open your main tube, copy and paste as a new layer, arrange in the middle of the tag.

as35, resize by 30% arrange on the right side

as37, resize by 60% arrange on bottom left, duplicate, resize by 75% mirror, rotate right 30, arrange a little higher on the left side, duplicate this one, resize by 75%, rotate left 30

Duplicate and resize the flowers, mirroring some, and arranging along the left side

just as we did above for the hearts. For the flowers, if I resized 35% or something really small like that, 

I did not resize that same amount, I did the second and third resize by 75 or 85%

as09, resize by 75%, mirror, arrange on left

as38, resize by 35%, arrange on the left

as19, resize by 75% arrange on the left, when I duplicated this one, I did not resize it

Open paper 6, copy and paste as a new layer, open your mask and apply it to the paper.

Crop and resize, add your copyright and credits
